Studies of people with eating disorders (ED) have indicated that meaning in life is negatively associated psychopathology, suicide risk, and emotional instability ED. The aim this study was to analyze the mediating role its dimensions relationship between body dissatisfaction symptoms ED, provide evidence supports making model (MESTA, Spanish). 292 Participants diagnosed ED completed Purpose Life Test (PIL), Eating Attitudes (EAT), Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ-AS). Multiple mediation analyses were performed. Meaning a mediator psychopathology. dimension Satisfaction had greater role. could be an important variable maintenance MESTA useful for understanding psychopathology
